To cut copper, aluminum and hard steel wires. Also allows the stripping of small section cables. STRIPPING FEATURE Use the small slot near the end of the tool head to cut the sheath, with a rotating motion to cut the sheath around the entire circumference, then pull the sheath to slide it. CUTTING FEATURE Use the large central notch to cut the cable. - specific dual-edged cutting edges allow for a more comfortable cut - the special cutting geometry ensures a clean, non-crushing cut of Cu and Alu conductors with minimum physical effort - insulating reinforcements at the ends of the arms to protect against shocks - high performance chrome vanadium steel A color distinction is made between the 2 layers of insulation to allow a visual check of the entire tool to confirm its proper use in electrical environments as recommended by UTE18-510 and IEC 60900.
