DIESEL STARTING BLEEDING PNEUMATIC KIT

Modern diesel engines need to generate fuel pressures in excess of 2000bar to work efficiently. Air in the fuel line adversely affects engine performance. When servicing the fuel line and installing a new fuel filter, air gets into the line. Most modern systems incorporate an automatic purger or manual pump permanently installed in the vehicle. However, for many fuel lines, it takes some time to purge all the air in the line. Modern diesel engines use two main fuel-supply methods: - positive-pressure feed: this uses an electric pump installed in the fuel tank to push the fuel to the high-pressure pump. - negative-pressure feed: this uses a motorized vacuum pump to generate a vacuum which draws the fuel to the high-pressure pump. The tools in this kit have been developed to be connected to diesel fuel lines using the car-maker's connections.
