| Specifications | Procedure: A) Remove the radiator plug and clean the joint bearings (possible scale).For the test, attach the plug adapted to the type of nozzle to the radiator:1) Bayonet connectorChoose the size of the plug for the radiator you are testing.Screw the plug onto the bladed part.Fix the coupling's 2 metal blades onto the nozzle, turn the upper knob to make sure it is watertight2) Coupling screwScrew the plug onto the radiator and check that the rubber trim is correctly positioned.B) Attach the radiator tester to the plug using the quick connect located at the end of the pipe.C) Activate the pump until pressure is about 1bar. If the manometer needle stays still for about 1 minute, the circuit is working correctly. If the needle goes down, it means that there are leaks in the circuit, which can easily be located from where water is coming out. If the manometer goes down and no leak is found, the state of wear of the engine's cylinder head gasket needs to be checked. |
